Tuesday Evening Adult Wheel Throwing Class

Beginner/ Intermediate Wheel Throwing

March 17th - May 5th

Tuesdays from 6pm - 9pm $700

This hands on 8 week course will guide students through basic wheel throwing techniques. Introducing students to skills such as, wedging, centering, throwing different forms, trimming, handle pulling, attaching and glazing. Class sizes are small (5 students) this gives the instructor  time to dedicate to each student and allows space for students to contribute to the curriculum with their individual interests within their skill level. While this is a beginner course, intermediate students are welcome to join.

This course includes:

• 1 x 25 lb bag of white stoneware (other clays are available for purchase)

• $20 in firing credit (additional firing at 6 cents per cubic inch)

Tools for class:

• Communal Tools will be available to borrow, however students are encouraged to purchase their own set.

• Apron or clothing you are okay getting messy in

• Small hand towel

• Small lidded container (this can be an old take out or yogurt container)
