Kids Handbuilding with Slabs!

This Class is designed for ages 7 - 12

Older kids who would like to join, are more than welcome!

We keep class sizes small, flexible and offer a 10% sibling discount. Each class will start with a bit of sketching out ideas, followed by a 20 minute demonstration of a new technique. Then, students will build their own special creations! Clean up will start 20 minutes before the end of each class.

Hand building with Slabs!

Students will learn how to make plates, cups, and vase forms from slabs of clay. They will be given the opportunity to sketch and make what they’re interested in based on this versatile hand building technique!

Teen / Tween Wheel Throwing Class

Friday, July, 17th

10am-12:30

This Class is designed for Students ages 11 - 17

In this 2.5 hour class students will be introduced to and guided through the wheel throwing process. Students

Class Schedule:

10am -10:20am - Instructor lead interactive demonstration

10:20-11:30 am- Students practice throwing on the wheel

11:30-11:50 am- Students will clean up their wheels

11:50 -12pm- Students will be given options to choose what glaze they’d like for their work

After the class work will be dried, fired, glazed and glaze fired, after which parents will be emailed to pick up their creations ( 2-3 week turnaround process).
